At the end of June, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Fine & Applied Arts Summer Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. We got to stay on campus for the week and attend morning & afternoon classes based on our desired track. I chose Graphic Design and this was our final poster project. We were given a word from a list and instructed to create three posters that represented that word in three different ways. My word was exercise and I created a literal, poetic, and argumentative version of that word. We printed these posters out onto large poster boards to take home. This camp was an amazing experience that helped me advance my skills and meet a ton of new friends. I also got a sneak peek at an experience at the university.
